Sarah Golden is a mixed media abstract painter living in Sacramento, California. Working with the repetition of lines, dots, and color blocking to create patterns that resemble aerial views of farmland. Inspired by the rural area, with a population of less than 200, where she grew up in Northern California. Preferring to work with the loose linen and cotton canvas on the wall or table. Using the canvas as a textile more than a traditional canvas during the painting process. Balancing colors, mixing patterns and shapes to create abstracted overhead landscapes. A self-taught full-time artist and mother of 6-year-old twin girls. A fabric designer for Andover Fabrics since 2016. Her work is internationally collected and featured in Uppercase, Nylon and Frankie Magazines.
