Diana Kane grew up in Northern California. She began designing jewelry in New York in 1993. Her handmade pieces have turned up in the pages of Women's Wear Daily, InStyle and W Magazine, and boutiques and galleries across the country. Her eponymous boutique opened on Fifth Avenue in Park Slope Brooklyn in 2002, carrying a wide selection of jewelry, clothing, lingerie and handbags. The Seventh Avenue store opened in December 2006. She lives in Park Slope and Rhinebeck NY with her husband, sons and three beautiful cats.
